In the second half of August 2022, EPRA and CRREM published a white paper on “How to manage your net zero targets with CRREM guidelines”. You can access the paper through the following link
 
Beginning of September, the sBPR survey reports with JLL was released during EPRA’s Annual conference, on 6 September 2022. This year 77 companies received a Gold Award (2021: 71), 23 received a Silver Award (2021: 22) and 8 received a Bronze Award (2021: 9). In addition, 65% of Members received an Award, up from 62% in 2021. The proportion of companies not receiving an Award has reduced from 38% in 2021 to 32% in 2022. In total, 11 Members moved up an Award category including four companies who moved from Bronze to Silver and seven companies who moved from either Bronze or Silver to Gold. Moreover, a total of 10 received Most Improved Awards that succeeded in increasing their score by 30% points. Discover the report here.
 
Beginning of October, EPRA and KPMG published the guidelines related to the EU Taxonomy “EU Taxonomy Alignment in Real Estate”. In November 2022, EPRA and KPMG will update the report titled “overview of real estate companies’ environmental performance”. EPRA will also be publishing its inhouse report “Green Bonds Monitor 2022”. We are expecting to release it in November 2022.

1/ CRREM  
On 11th of October, EPRA and CRREM organised a webinar on Net Zero. The white paper of “How to manage your net zero targets with CRREM guidelines '', produced in collaboration with CRREM looking at the application of CRREM resources and helping EPRA members on their pathway to reduce operational carbon emissions towards a 1,5 degree goal, can be downloaded here
 
2/ EU Taxonomy   
On the 13th of October, EPRA and KPMG organised a webinar on the EU Taxonomy guidelines, “EU Taxonomy Alignment in Real Estate”. Read here.

3/ CSRD
On the 27th of October, EPRA and Deloitte Belgium will organise a webinar on “CSRD: New era of corporate sustainability reporting”. Register here

4/ ESG 
On the 23rd of November, EPRA will organize its annual ESG summit to discuss important themes in the LRE & ESG space. Following themes will be part of the summit: “Is the public market overburdened with ESG reporting requirements vs private markets”, “How to quantify physical risks?”, “Is their clarity on operational/embodied carbon?” etc. Register here.
