Institutional investors responded to a survey on their views towards European listed real estate. The survey report is intended to facilitate interactive dialogue between investors and listed real estate companies and among investors. Additionally, it serves as a valuable tool for investors to assess current sector analysis methods and evaluate potential strategies for future investments.
We have asked institutional investors to evaluate their investment appetite over a three-year period through 13 different questions.

- Over 75% of generalists noted they would be at least market weight in listed real estate over the next three years.
- There is a common interest in digital transformation as the most important global mega-trend. Generalists note globalisation slightly ahead of demographics, specialists note demographics ahead of globalisation.
- Specialists and generalists place emphasis on different financial metrics when appraising listed real estate.
