The regulatory landscape in the EU and UK is rapidly evolving, introducing new complexities and challenges within the real estate sector. This session aims to consider these critical regulatory dynamics and their impact on real estate.

SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation): 6 8 & 9 disclosure requirements in Real Estate assets, definition of "inefficient real estate assets", application of PAI indicators related to social matters, differences in the calculation methodologies between the TCFD (Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures) recommendations and the SFDR’s, inconsistencies with EPC ratings among EEA member states, how to apply the PAI to countries outside of the EEA where the EPC does not exist and where nearly zero-emission building (NZEB) rules are not in effect.

EU Taxonomy: amendment on the Climate EU Tax and the new Environmental EU Tax. Implications, how does it affect the Real Estate? Correlation between the main regulations (CSRD, SFDR).

CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive): sector agnostic requirements, impacts?
