Events are managed through the Concrete CMS Calendar & Events section.
Creating a new event in the 'Events and webinars' calendar will produce an Event page and added into the website structure.
Event Settings
Various settings are provided to control the content and presentation of the event details:
Name
Name of the event - used on both the event page and event listings.
Description
The full description of the event - used on the main event page. This can include html content - headings, lists etc.
More Details Link Destination
This can be used if there is a details link in addition to the event page itself.
Brief Description
A summary of the event used in event listings etc.
Event Thumbnail
The image that is used in lists of events.
Event Image
The image used on the event page itself (if this is not used the Event Thumbnail image will be used instead).
Event Location
Textual location information e.g address or 'Zoom' etc. for webinars.
Event Registration Link
Link to url where the user may register. If this is not populated the link button will not be shown.
Is Featured
Checkbox to allow event to be featured in event lists.
Event Type
Select list of types - used to provide marker on event listings.
Event List Style
If Image is selected the event is displayed using the only the Event Thumbnail. This assumes that the thumbnail carries enough information and the usual summary details are not needed.
