The CRREM initiative releases a report on Green Governance and how to implement and develop feasible Net Zero Transition Plans in the real estate industry. The report was authored by the CRREM team and supported by EPRA and UNEP FI.

Green bonds are firmly on the European financial agenda, which has been fuelled by appetite from both policymakers and industry. Listed real estate has been at the heart of the action when it comes to green bonds, and this infographic provides a snapshot of how this is progressing.

EPRA together with support from KPMG has consolidated all received questions and composed this FAQ document with a response to these questions.

The paper is being jointly published through a collaborative effort involving CRREM, EPRA, UNEP FI and Hines

EPRA has put together the content of this report to provide guidelines to its members on the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2020/852, known as the EU Taxonomy. The content of this report aims at providing updated guidelines following the publication of the technical screening criteria of the four other environmental objectives, the amendments made to the two climate objectives, and also covering the questions gathered from the EPRA members.

The EPRA sBPR Database, central to this study, highlights the growing commitment to sustainability reporting, driven by investor interest. With the EU’s move towards mandatory sustainability standards for listed property companies, our sector is well-positioned to lead in reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. This report is a dynamic and ongoing series, mapping the exciting trajectory of our sector’s sustainability journey and sparking excellence in ESG practices. It’s much more than a document; it’s our testament to progress for the industry and a source of inspiration for the pursuit of the ultimate standard in sustainability.
