Simon Clubbs is Director of Tax at Realty Income Corporation, and previously at SEGRO. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) and has a degree in Economics from Leeds University. He previously worked as a tax adviser at KPMG for 8 years before joining Brixton plc in August 2006. He has worked for SEGRO since the acquisition of Brixton in August 2009.

Mark Abramson began his career in global equity capital markets 25 years ago as a sellside analyst at the investment bank Bear Stearns (now JP Morgan). During his 11 years at the bank, with offices in NY, London and São Paulo, he provided the firm's institutional clients unique and top-ranked equity research analysis on a number of industries around the world, including several categories of REITs. He then moved to the buyside where he has developed, launched and managed a number of REIT investment products and strategies, global and Europe-focused, for a number of top global real estate investment management firms. He also advises listed real estate companies and private equity investors on strategy and corporate transactions. He is an independent director on the board of Echo Investment SA of Poland, the leading real estate developer. And he is co-founder of BrickMark AG, first mover in the new crypto REIT segment.

Gideon Agyemang joined the Dutch insurance company ASR Nederland N.V. in 2014 and works as a Senior Portfolio Manager for the department ‘ASR Real Assets Investment Partners’. He is responsible for the selection and monitoring of asset managers for listed real estate. Furthermore he is also responsible for the ASR Property Fund, which is an AIFMD-fund for a.s.r. unit-linked policyholders and pension products, that invests in European listed real estate. He is a holder of a Bachelor (HvA/HES) and Master of Business Administration (LOI).

Alexis Arnaud is a partner in the Real Estate Tax team in London. He previously worked in the Luxembourg office for 4 years before joining the London Real Estate team in 2014. He is working on UK and pan-European real estate transactions, and has extensive experience having led cross-border engagements assisting clients on a number of high profile property transactions.

Elena Aubrée is a registered attorney-at-law and tax partner with Forvis Mazars Avocats in France. Her main practice area is corporate taxation, with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions and corporate restructuring. Elena Aubrée advises a wide range of corporate clients from Real Estate and Infrastructure industry, both listed and privately-owned companies, in France and abroad in the definition and implementation of their tax strategies, while also providing day-to-day tax assistance.

Sandrine Berbel is Group Director of Tax at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. She gained extensive experience in the real estate sector from various positions held at Archon Group France (Goldman Sachs Group), PwC Avocats and General Electric Capital Real Estate following which she joined Unibail-Rodamco in 2014. Sandrine holds a master’s degree in business law and a post graduate qualification in tax law. She is a lawyer admitted to the French bar.

Ariane Brohez is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group and of the Benelux Investment Management/Funds Team, based in Brussels. She has a broad practice of counselling in real estate transactions and taxation. Ariane has particular experience in structuring real estate funds, real estate investments (acquisitions, disposals) and real estate financing. She assists clients in real estate transactions (portfolios, share deals, sale & lease back, (re)financing), negotiating deals from initial offer or term sheet to closing, and advising on all tax, regulatory and legal aspects. Ariane also specialises in Belgian corporate tax law and withholding taxes, incl. international tax developments and GAAR, as well as in (the compliance of domestic legislation with) European tax law and Constitutional tax law.

Aigline is the Group Director of Institutional Relations at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) since May 2021. Before joining URW, Aigline held several functions in the Public sector, notably within the Cabinet of the Ministers of Economy and Finance in France, and as Special Advisor for the President of the Economic Affairs Committee in the French National Assembly. Previously, Aigline worked for 9 years in Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers and Rothschild in London and Paris, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions for Financial Institutions and Governments. Aigline holds a Master in Management from EDHEC Business School in France and a MBA from INSEAD.

Laurent Fessmann heads the Banking & Finance practice at Baker McKenzie Luxembourg. He has 22 years’ experience in business law and started his career in 1996 as in-house counsel in a French CAC40 listed company, where he worked intensively on LBO transactions, capital markets and corporate law matters. He founded his own firm in August 2009 and established the Baker McKenzie Luxembourg office one year later. Laurent is a banking & finance lawyer who specializes in lending transactions and regulatory assistance, both at domestic and foreign level. Besides that, Laurent is also active in the capital markets area and is praised for his structured finance experience. He advises investment banks and issuers mainly in security admission projects, both for debt and equity instruments. Giuseppe Andrea joined Chiomenti Studio Legale in 1997, became a partner in 2003 heading the tax department through 2009. Before Chiomenti, Giuseppe Andrea worked from 1992 with Arthur Andersen tax department in Milan. He seats at the Tax Committee of ASSOIMMOBILIARE (Italian real estate association) and of AIFI (Italian private equity association). Giuseppe Andrea advised the Treasury in 2006 for the introduction of the SIIQ law and recently the Ministry of Economic development for its reform. Jörg is the Secretary General of Montea. As Secretary General he is responsible for the corporate, regulatory, legal and compliance aspects of the Montea group. Prior to his current position, Jörg has been active as corporate/M&A lawyer for over 9 years at renowned Belgian and international law firms, with a specific focus on corporate real estate transactions.

Keetie is a director in PwC’s Global Tax Policy Team and the Financial Services tax practice of PwC Netherlands. She is also a member of PwC NL's steering committee of the Tax Expertise Leadership Team (TELT) and responsible for tax policy. She helps drive a market-focused platform within PwC that unites expert groups—including the Opinion Committee, Tax Solutions Group, Policy Insights, and Controversy—to strengthen collective capabilities and deliver impactful results to clients. She connects technical excellence with real-world developments and fosters relationships with key stakeholders in both the national and international public domain, including organizations such as the OECD, European Commission, European Parliament, ministries, NGOs, and business groups. Keetie was a senior policy advisor in the Business Profits, Tax Policy and European Affairs units of Directorate-General for Taxation of the Dutch Ministry of Finance, and the Permanent Representation of the Netherlands to the European Union in Brussels. In her years with the Ministry, she was responsible for large tax policy and legislation projects. Before joining PwC in 2021, Keetie worked several years for group tax at the largest bank in the Netherlands. Keetie holds a master's decree in fiscal economics and a postmaster's decree in legislation.

Grégory is a Tax Partner of the Real Estate department of PwC Belgium. He has worked for PwC Belgium’s Real Estate Group since 2001 and is now leading the PwC real estate practice in Belgium. He graduated from both University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Master in Law) and holds a Master in Tax Law from the Solvay Business School of Management. He is also a Certified Tax Advisors i.e., member of the Belgian Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants. Grégory has broad experience in providing advice on international and Belgian tax restructuring and is tax advisor to a number of real estate funds, REITs and developers. He is specialized in structuring funds, from design to implementation (such as e.g. the Belgian real estate fund - FIIS). Grégory assists clients in due diligence process of real estate companies, including review of tax clauses in purchase agreements, etc. Grégory has broad experience in providing advice on international and Belgian tax restructuring and is tax advisor to a number of real estate investment funds, REITs and developers.

Stephanie is a partner in the real estate tax team of KPMG in Germany. She has worked for KPMG in real estate taxation since 2010. Stephanie studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and University of Texas at Austin and is qualified lawyer and tax advisor in Germany. Her main focus is advising international clients in real estate investments in Germany both from a transactional as well as tax compliance perspective.

Stefan has 24 years Big 4 tax advisory experience with focus on corporate and real estate taxes, covering both domestic and cross-border investments, for Swiss and foreign real estate funds; real estate companies; pension funds and investment foundations.

Caroline is a member of the Executive Management team with responsibility for the entire ESG area in Pandox, which involves 159 hotel properties in 12 countries in Europe. Under her leadership Science Based Targets has been approved. The first part of the road map to reach the targets for Scope 1 and 2 is already signed by the Board of Directors. The ambition is to present the road map for scope 3 during 2024. Further, two green investment programs have been rolled out successfully, Pandox first three green agreements has been signed, green executive incentives has been implemented and 12 of the properties within own operation is now BREAAM certified at level Very Good. She is Board Member of Prisma Properties, a real estate company in Sweden. She previously held various communication management roles including Investor Relations and Communication Manager at listed Nordic companies. She started her career within accounting and corporate finance. Caroline holds a Bachelor Degree in accounting from the University of Lund.   Caroline is also a member of the Energy & Environment Alliance's Capital Committee and part of Fastighetsägarna’s Sustainability Council, which is Sweden’s real estate trade association. 

Peter is Fund Manager European Listed Real Estate Securities at MN, one of the largest pension administrators and asset managers in the Netherlands. Peter’s core activities are Listed Real Estate Investing and continuously improving portfolio compositions, with a future proof perspective. ‘At MN we manage the portfolios of our institutional clients with the aim of long term value creation and with a focus on both people and the environment. By actively engaging with companies on ESG policies, ambitions and actions, we seek to provide both financial and social returns for our stakeholders.’ Combining expertise from the design side with the investment side of real estate, Peter aims to further enhance the efforts of the EPRA sustainability committee. Peter is also an investor member of the INREV sustainability committee.  

Matt is Head of Environmental Sustainability for British Land, a UK focussed REIT. Matt leads the implementation of British Land’s environmental sustainability strategy across both the standing portfolio and the development pipeline, responsible for ensuring assets are designed, built and operated to the highest environmental standards. He has held various roles across the business, including establishing British Land’s approach to wellbeing in the built environment and most recently developing and implementing our approach to smart buildings and digital placemaking. Recent development projects include the delivery of 100 Liverpool Street, 1 Broadgate, 3 Sheldon Sq and leading sustainability at Canada Water - a 53 acre mixed use regeneration project.  

Gabriella Zepf is responsible for developing and driving the company’s Group sustainability strategy ensuring it meets its Responsible SEGRO commitment to champion low carbon growth and being net-zero carbon by 2030. She joins SEGRO from Big Yellow where she was Head of CSR leading the self-storage firm’s sustainability and climate risk strategy. She has also undertaken a range of consultancy and in-house roles focused on sustainability and the environment for companies including British American Tobacco and Orange/ EE.
